Du Métal: Vessel of Memory

The sharpness of the surface, the cold touch against a warm memory,

the depth of emotion—these are my impressions of metal.

Its endurance through time, its quiet balance with gravity, slowly turn into gratitude.

An angled surface catches a slight shimmer in the air, cutting cleanly into two faces—

where dark grows darker, and light grows brighter.‍   ‍

Du Métal_1st Collection_Vessle of Memory, Ring and Ear Cuff, Sterling Silver, 2026

This story reflects a study of sculptural form—where soft clay transforms into a lasting metal piece, holding both fragility and strength.

Each piece is formed in solid silver, its sculptural body fully filled rather than hollow—carrying a quiet weight and a grounded, tactile presence in the hand.
